Session is set to time out after 120 minutes
Using this website
First, you can link to an RSS newsfeed to give you the latest information about the area of service which your PDU covers. What is a News Feed?
Second, you can now let other PDUs know about the changes and service improvements you have introduced and are most proud of. Go to the activity database here and go to the input form. Your network facilitator will be in touch shortly to find out what you would like to post but why wait? You can put brief details of what you have been doing recently straight on the website yourself and let everyone know about the achievements, progress, problems you’ve encountered and what you have learned. You’ll then have an A4 page summarising your work that you can save and print out to use locally as you choose.
Third, we have provided a facility on the site to enable you to talk directly to the individuals and colleagues you want to, from other PDUs or relevant organisations. You will find the Let’s Talk area of the site here. You can contact colleagues from other PDUs using this facility, to ask about their experience, request help and offer your ideas. We hope that you will use the discussion facility on this part of the site for exploring new practice or dealing with problems - talking to people who can share their learning about particular issues you are interested in. Of course you can also use it to arrange local meetings, share your views or even arrange social activities.
Fourth, we have provided links which might help newer members of PDUs find tools and techniques to support them undertaking service improvements. Go here to find out about relevant tools and the place they can play in the development journey.
There’s lots more on this site already and we’re also hoping to get your ideas about how to make it better. Email networkmanager@pdunetwork.org with any thoughts you have.
One last word: to be re-accredited in future may require evidence of shared
learning and contributions to policy and practice debates. Getting involved
with the network is a great way to build a portfolio! So take twenty minutes
out and get exploring.
